ALL countertop fabricators, tile installers, cabinet makers, SHOULD accompany their clients on the shopping portion of the final selection. These are the experts in their field and should be prepared to assist in supplying you, the client, with the appropriate information on not only a visual of what the end product's color will look like, but the quality, size, and type of materials selected for the application and tailored to your lifestyle--this type of SERVICE should always be made available to the client (an added value to the client which FGCTT supplies at no extra charge)--this helps in preventing future costly mistakes!
Please keep in mind any construction, whether it is new countertops, cabinets or tile can be a messy endeavor, particularly the removal of tile. We always recommend you prepare the home if this is a remodel, for a very fine dust, by placing plastic sheeting at the doorways. Keep in mind that the fine dust can be carried by the air ducts as well, so please cover those vents too! Tile is cut outdoors, as well as the holes for faucets and drop in sinks for the granite countertops, therefore, most of that dust is kept outdoors, but sometimes it carries in on the countertops and tile. My installers are VERY meticulous and will certainly clean up their areas of any debris (we even have you sign off on this portion of your install to ensure we are picking up and cleaning up after ourselves). That's not to say there won't be any lingering dust in the air that may settle, so please don't be alarmed, it can easily be cleaned with either Windex or Pledge, depending on the surface it is on.
